Abstract The present paper appraises a standardized test, the entrance exam of Iranian universities, known as “Konkur” that is administered annually means gaining admission to higher education in Iran. This norm-referenced test for students majoring mathematics, experimental sciences, and humanities whose scores along their weighted GPAs last 3 years high school are used indicators students’ rank. Based on rank achieved, they would find opportunity select highly regarded university education. Due importance such high-stake which may bring about social long-time consequences participants, tries evaluate its psychometrics aspects. It ostensible provides limited situation measuring participants “knowledge language” rather than language.” Therefore, dimensionality validity debatable. Thus, review characterize Konkur examination discusses rooms untouched aspects betterment quality.
